What scope of work does Burgess Kitchens do?
Burgess Kitchens is not limited to kitchens! We also specialise in custom built vanities, laundries, home offices, entertainment units, and a range of commercial requirements, such as reception counters, shelving and display units. Burgess Kitchens can also remove your existing kitchen, vanity or cabinetry to make way for the new.
What is the process?
- Contact Burgess Kitchens for a quote and personalised design.
- Pay the deposit and sign the contract.
- Choose your finishes in the Burgess Kitchens showroom.
- Installation and final inspection.
How much will it cost?
The best way to determine the price of the work you require Burgess Kitchens to do, is to let us provide you with a quote. Costs differ greatly depending on the size, detail and design of the work, as well as the materials and finishes chose
How long does it take?
After Burgess Kitchens receives all relevant information and the deposit, an approximate installation date can be provided, dependant on finishes. Timeframes all depend on the size, finishes and detail of the job, and can vary throughout the year. Please ask our staff for the current timeframe.
What insurance is there?
As a licensed member of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC), Burgess Kitchens’ clients will pay for the compulsory insurance through the QBCC when the work is more than $3,300 including GST. In the circumstances where a builder is involved, they may have included this in their price.
QBCC insurance costs vary with the price of the work to be undertaken.
What about other subcontractors?
Burgess Kitchens can organise and be responsible for all required tradespeople. These can be booked and managed by us and an estimation of their costs can be included in our quote. In the future, if you have any issues with your kitchen or bathroom you only have to call Burgess Kitchens.
How much disruption will there be?
Burgess Kitchens has developed processes to ensure little disruption occurs during installation. This also depends on the amount of work Burgess Kitchens is required for. A standard kitchen can be removed and installed in one day with the relevant subcontractors coordinated to synchronise their work with this. If there are walls to be removed or built this will take a little longer.
Does Burgess Kitchens have the best products and hardware?
Burgess Kitchens pride themselves in staying up to date with the latest industry products and materials to produce high quality work that will stand the test of time. Working with hardware companies such as Blum and Hafele, Burgess Kitchens is supplied with industry leading products. Your cabinetry finishes can be discussed with Burgess Kitchens to suit your budget and lifestyle.
What about the appliances?
To ensure clients have access to all appliances, Burgess Kitchens can recommend leading appliance suppliers who will make certain you receive the best possible price. Burgess Kitchens ensures the appliances you choose will work with your design, as well as constructing the cabinetry appropriately, to allow the appliances to operate to their maximum potential.
